大学院連合農学研究科で博士課程院生向けに講義をしました。
この講義，気軽に引き受けてしまったものの，よくよく聞いてみれば留学生向けの英語講義を全国17国立大学の連合農学研究科に生中継するという代物でした。英語での講義は修士課程でも受け持っていますが，講義の全国中継は初めての経験です。
教室には大型スクリーンが２つありますが，ひとつは私のスライド，もうひとつには全国の教室が映し出されています。質疑応答も生中継で，質問者の顔も見えます。寝ている人はいませんでしたが，寝ているかどうかもわかる解像度でした。こういう機器が連大にあるんですね。
Today, I had a time to talk at the class of United Graduate School of Agriculture, Kagoshima University. Although I am working at Fisheries department, I am also faculty member of United Graduate School of Agriculture. Actually, organization or affiliation of Japanese university is quite complicated.
I talked my story in English because this class was opened for non-Japanese speakers. Besides, this class was transmitted to other graduate schools of the 17 national universities!! I could see the face of students in the screen, and discussed my topics with them.
The class by broadband transmission was first time experience for me. Normal style must be better for me.
