指宿市で調査 (Field survey at Ibusuki City)

修士2年のK堀君が鹿児島湾に面した指宿市で藻場調査を行いました。彼はここで一年以上生態調査を続けていますが，今回が最後の調査になるかもしれません。
Takahiro, MS Candidate, conducted his field survey at Ibusuki City facing the Kagoshima Bay.  In this site, he has been conducting the survey of some Sargassum species in the past one year. Probably, this time might be the last survey for his MS thesis.

コナフキモクとイソモクが優占する藻場でした。調査の内容については，来月の日本藻類学会第36回大会（コナフキモク）と9月の日本水産学会秋季大会（イソモク）で発表する予定です。
Two Sargassum species, S. glaucescens and S. hemiphyllum, were the dominant species in the site. He will be talking his research at the annual meetings of JSP (Japanese Society of Phycology, July) and JSFS (Japanese Society of Fisheries Science, September), respectively.
