種子島沖で調査 (Research voyage at offshore of Tanegashima)

鹿児島大学水産学部附属練習船南星丸に乗船し，種子島の沖合で海洋調査を行いました。
We conducted the survey at offshore of Tanegashima. It was a part of research voyage of T/S Nansei-maru, Kagoshima University. 

Mageshima Island

馬毛島が見えてきました。今，何かと話題の島です（調査は馬毛島と一切関係ありません）。
Near the study site, we could see the island of Mageshima. 

CTDに光量子ロガーを装着し，水深80mまで観測しました。
We attached a PAR logger on the CTD, and measured by the depth of 80m.

初日は種子島の西之表港に入港し，停泊しました。これは二日目朝の様子。

二日目は採泥器とドレッジを使って底生生物の調査をしました。
